LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Wednesday sealed one food outlet and imposed a fine of Rs 100,000 on another while issued warnings to 31 other food points on the charges of using unhygienic ingredients.

As per details, the field team of the authority sealed famous Lajpal Sajji House in Allama Iqbal Town on the charges of not having license of premises, absence of sale-purchase record of chicken, poor hygiene of the staff, rusted freezer and other charges. Another famous hotel “Sarhad Hotel” situated at Guru Mangot area of Gulberg was fined Rs 100,000 because of poor cleanliness and using unhygienic ingredients.
