KARACHI: The University of Karachi has cancelled admissions of four students on the charges of submitting `tampered marks sheets.

An official of the institution said on Sunday that Director Admissions Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Qadri has notified that on verification from the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi, the marks sheets of four candidates, who were granted admissions in 2017 Morning and Evening Program have been found forged/tampered.

It was pointed out that in morning program, the admissions of Sohail Rehman bearing roll no. 847884 and Umemma Mirza bearing roll no 857591 from Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences were cancelled.

Moreover, in evening program, the admissions of Ahsan Ali bearing roll no 949751 from Public Administration and Nimra Zahid bearing roll no 219188 from mathematics were also cancelled.—APP
