LAHORE: The first flight from Lahore to Madina, PK 2033, took off from Allama Iqbal Airport on Thursday carrying 392 intending pilgrims.

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) till the fourth day of its pre-Hajj operation has transported more than 4,200 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia through 13 flights. All pre-Hajj flights are departing on time from their respective stations in Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Sialkot and Multan.

Chief Executive Officer PIA Nayyar Hayat has said that the PIA has made special arrangements for the convenience of intending pilgrims at airports in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan with additional PIA staff deputed for their assistance.
