PESHAWAR: The public sector schools here in the district have reopened on Wednesday after the summer break.

The summer holidays homework would be checked by the teachers and preparations for the examinations would be ensured. According to the teachers and the heads of schools, the academic activities will remain high for the preparations of annual and board exams with opening of schools after summer vacations.

Meanwhile, the district officer has suspended two employees of Kalu Khan Civil Hospital, Tehsil Razaar district Swabi over alleged involvement in illegal activities.

When contacted, DHO Dr Niaz Muhammad told this correspondent that after learning about the accusations and counter-accusations against each other by the two watchmen of the hospital, the hospital administration took a prompt action and suspended Tajamul and Fazalullah.

He warned that none of the employee was allowed to use the premises of the hospital for illegal activities.

It has been learnt that Tajamul Islam and Fazalullah have not enjoyed good relations, usually lodged complaints against each other but the latest allegations and counter-allegations had taken a nasty turn.

On a complaint, both the employees have been suspended and committee constituted to investigate the matter and submit a report to DHO within a stipulated time and in the light of the report the DHO would initiate a departmental action.
