KARACHI: The Met Office on Saturday said that mainly hot and dry weather is expected in the most part of the country in the next 24 hours.

It said, however, isolated rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is likely in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mirpurkhas and Rawalpindi Divisions, Upper FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan.

“Weak seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. A trough of westerly wave is present over upper part of the country,” it said, adding that weather remained hot and humid in the most parts of the country over the last 24 hours.

Mithi received 1mm of rainfall whereas Turbat was the hottest place with 43 degrees Celsius temperature followed by Shaheed Benazirabad 42, Lasbela, Noorpurthal and Dadu 41, each.
