PESHAWAR: A visiting delegation from Kazakhstan called on the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engr. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra at Governor’s House, Peshawar on Tuesday.

The delegation was comprised of Zhanat Seidumanov, Arnur Rakhymbekow, Samal Tuleubayeva, Bakhtikhozha, Bolat Tokabatev, Gbit Moldamurat, Paltore Yktiyer and Asfaque Ali. The delegation remained with the governor for some time and discussed bilateral matters.

Welcoming the members of the delegation, the Governor said that Pakistan and Kazakhstan are two Islamic brotherhood countries which have strong friendly relations.

Regarding CPEC, the Governor further added that CPEC is not only a game changer for Pakistan but also for the entire region and said that other countries also want to take advantage of CPEC. “Peace is restored in the country and environment is feasible for foreign investment,” he added.

Members of the delegation appreciated the hospitality of Pakistan and the efforts of the Government taken for the development of the country, especially appreciated the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project as well. Souvenirs were also exchanged on the occasion.
