KARACHI: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in the most parts of the country with a thin fog over plains of Punjab and Upper Sindh during the next 24 hours, the Met Office said on Wednesday.

It said that fog may continue to grip plains areas in Punjab and Upper Sindh in morning hours, but cold weather is likely to remain across the country. “Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country,” it said.

Weather remained cold and dry in the most parts of the country over the past 24 hours with temperature falling to minus six in Skardu and minus two, each, in Kalat, Quetta, Gupis and Gilgit.
