ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif returned to the country on Tuesday after meeting Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman in Riyadh.

Nawaz Sharif was received by party leaders and workers at Benazir International Airport upon his arrival after spending two busy days in Saudi Arabia and went straight to Punjab House in a huge motorcade.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif returned from Saudi Arabia.

While in Saudi Arabia, according to a statement issued by a spokesperson of Sharif family, the former Prime Minister and his younger brother Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif had a 90-minute meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince.
