KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) on Friday claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition buried deep in a compound allegedly by miscreants of banned Muttahida Qaumi Movement London (MQM-L) in Shareefabad, Liaquatabad vicinity of the metropolis. The arms and ammunition recovered during the paramilitary intelligence-driven predawn raid included five SMGs, five 30bore pistols, two 32 bore pistols, one 9MM, four camouflage jackets, 23 magazines, and around 1950 rounds.

The arms were likely to be used for inciting violence, and target killings in the metropolis, the statement concluded.
