PESHAWAR: Provincial president PPP, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Humayun Khan has flayed the failure of police to arrest the accused persons in different violent incidents in Mardan, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan and asked the provincial government to arrest the culprits otherwise his party workers will take street against it.

Speaking at gathering of PPP workers here Tuesday, he said that the escaping of accused persons in the murder of medical student Asma Rani and another minor girl in Mardan proved that tall claims about reforms in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police were false.

He blamed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for politicizing KP police by describing it exemplary police in the country. He said several cases were happened in the province during the past some days wherein police failed to arrest the accused persons which proved that the provincial government was incompetent.

Khan said it seemed that a law of jungle prevailed in the province wherein lives, properties and honour of innocent people, especially belonging to low income group were not safe.

He said that the PTI chief was bitterly criticizing the rest of provincial governments in the country but when his own government failed to arrest the culprits in heinous crimes then he kept a mum over the incidents.
