LAHORE: The Kashmir Solidarity Day would be observed across the country today (Monday) with full enthusiasm and traditional national spirit.

In order to support the right of self-determination of the Kashmiris, various religious, political social parities will arrange seminars, rallies and demonstration protest in the country

In this regard the chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Senator Sirajul Haq, would lead the Kashmir rally in the federal capital, JI leader Ameerul Azeem, said here on Sunday.

According to the schedule, JI deputy chief Mian Muhammad Aslam and JI parliamentary leader in the National Assembly, Sahibzada Tariqullah, would also join the JI chief. JI Secretary General Liaqat Baloch, will lead the rally at Lahore. Hafiz Muhammad Idrees will lead the rally at Sialkot while Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha, will lead the rally at Sargodha.

Hafiz Sajid Anwar will lead the rally at Sheikhupura, Syed Waqas Anjum Jaafery, at Sahiwal, Azhar Iqbal Hasan at Gujranwala. Mian Maqsood Ahmed will lead the rally at Multan. In the Khyber PK. Mushtaq Ahmed Khan will lead the Peshawar rally, Prof Muhammad Ibrahim will lead the rally at Swat while Dr Khalid Mehmud will lead the rally at Muzaffarabad.

In Sindh, Asadullah Bhutto and Hafiz Naeemur Rahman will lead the Karachi rally. Rashid Naseem will lead at Sukkur while Dr Merajul Huda Siddiqui will lead the Hyderabad rally. The Quetta rally will be led by Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi.

Amirul Azeem said that preparations for the day were in full swing and banners and placards had been prepared.
