Imran Khan must make payment

Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) former Justice Javed Iqbal has reportedly directed director general NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to conduct an inquiry against chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan and Chief Minister KPK Pervez Khattak over use of official helicopters at cheap rates by them.

The details of charges clearly show that the PTI chief, who has been waging a war against corruption, has committed a blunder by not making the rightful payment against the use of helicopters. He is therefore required to make payment of whatever he still owes to the treasury in this regard. He must not lose sight of his party’s electoral prospects.

The NAB inquiry and court proceedings may cause harm to his standing as a politician.
