LAHORE: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday reserved its verdict in matter of Imran Ali alleged rapist and serial killers of minor girls including seven-year old Zainab Amin of Kasur.
ATC judge Sajjad Ahmad concluded proceedings after the lawyers of both sides concluded their arguments at Kot Lakhpat jail.
The court completed recording of statement and cross-examination of 33 witnesses was recorded within just two days and court might announce its verdict on Feb 17 (tomorrow).
The counsel of Imran Ali had withdrawn his power of attorney and said after confessional statement of Imran Ali, he did not want to plead his case.
Muhammad Sultan has been nominated as counsel of Imran Ali by the Prosecutor General Punjab.
The LHC had already ordered the trial court to conclude the case within seven days.
