FAISALABAD: On the directions of Punjab govt, the 2nd phase of health week is in the continuing process in district and total numbers of 6630 patients were registered in the first day on 44 health camps at different THQ Hospitals, RHCs and BHUs for screening their health.

Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani inaugurated the health camp at Govt General Hospital Samnabad and reviewed the health screening process. CEO Health Dr Zafar Abbas, MS Dr Asfandyar, District Manager Punjab Health Facilities Management Company Dr Nawazish Goraya, Dr Bilal Ahmad, Dr Khalikd Fakhar, Dr Asif Saleemi and other doctors were present on the occasion.

Deputy Commissioner directed the health department staff to perform their duties with high sense of responsibilities to achieve the desired results of these health camps.

The Deputy Commissioner said proper counselling should be made to guide people about their health. He said the daily report of registered people be sent to him. CEO Health Dr Zafar Abbas informed that 7 desks had been established at each health camp for the registration, medical check up, laboratory tests, vaccinations and counselling of the people. He informed that health camps would be continued by 24 Feb and target has been fixed for the screening of more than 38000 patients at health screening camps during the week.
