LAHORE: Glowing tributes were paid to former federal finance minister Ishaq Dar by All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran here on Monday with appealing judiciary to decide Ishaq Dar’s case on merit without any delay.

The appeal was made at a function which was attended by all major trade and business groups of the country including United Business Group chairman Iftikhar Malik, Punjab Chairman Mian Idrees, Lahore Businessmen Front Chairman Amjad Ch, APAT Central President Ajmal Baloch, General Secretary Naeem Mir, APAT Bhatti Group President Ashraf Bhatti, Progressive Group Chairman Khalid Usman and a large number of business community from across the country. Through a resolution, all trade bodies unanimously declared Ishaq Dar as the best finance minister in the history of Pakistan, presenting him the best finance minister trophy award which was received by ex-FM’s brother-in-law Gen Rehan Bashir (retd).
