KARACHI: A security guard of a money exchange company was shot dead by unknown robbers in the jurisdictions of FB Industrial Area Police Station here on Monday.

Police said the incident occurred when two robbers riding two motorbikes stopped the cash van of a private money exchange company and tried to loot it on Rashid Minhas Road. The security guard identified as Khalid foiled the robbery attempt despite receiving bullet wounds. Later he succumbed to injuries.
