LAHORE: The Punjab Wildlife Department (PWD) has decided to devise a management plan to save different species of birds and animals near extinction and restoration of their safe habitats in the province.

Whole department will be revamped and sections of Punjab Wildlife Act, which are not in line with the prevailing circumstances, will be amended. This was disclosed at a one-day workshop arranged by the Punjab Wildlife and Parks Department here on Thursday with the provincial secretary wildlife, forest and fisheries Mian Waheed uddin in the chair.
