USCS leading delegation of 10 Pak companies

KARACHI: The United States Commercial Service (USCS) is leading a delegation of 10 Pakistani companies to Waste Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, from April 23-26, 2018.

Waste Expo, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, is the largest waste, recycling, and organics tradeshow/conference in North America. Waste Expo expects more than 12,000 participants and 600 exhibitors. Conference themes include recycling/landfill, fleet management/collection, organics, safety, and food recovery.

The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) will also conduct innovation sessions.

Highlighting the importance of this exposition and the value to Pakistan’s participants, US Commercial Counselor Steve Knode said, “Our initiative to lead a delegation to Waste Expo demonstrates our interest and commitment to showcase best-in-class US products that can assist Pakistan waste solutions in a broad range of applications. The participating Pakistani delegation will have the opportunity to meet waste and recycling peers, experts and top providers.”

Two-way trade between the United States and Pakistan in 2017 reached a record $6.4 billion.—PR
