HYDERABAD: The citizens from different segments of life of Hyderabad city here on Friday termed the Budget 2018-19 as balanced budget under the present circumstances being faced by the country and appreciated the government of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for considering the grievances of common masses and announced incentives for promotion of different sectors.

The President PML-N Sindh Syed Shah Muhammad Shah said that the PML-N government had once again won the hearts of people by presenting a balanced budget which they said another step to change the destiny of the country.

He said that the PML-N Government has presented the ever best budget in the prevailing situation of the country and hoped that the budget will provide relief to people belonging to all walks of life.

He said that Pakistan Muslim League Government had announced the people’s friendly budget despite economic crunch and numbers of domestic and international challenges on different fronts, but still it was a balanced budget.

Shah said that the government had been successful to steer the country out of economic crisis being faced for the last many years and now it was stable and could meet any future challenge.

President Pakistan Muslim League (N) Hyderabad District Muhammad Haneef Siddiqui said that the main challenge confronted to business and agriculture sectors is energy shortfall and adding that the federal Government deserved full credit and appreciation for allocating a huge amount of energy uplift in the country.

He further said that the proper utilization of the allocated amount will surely help in improving the socio economic condition of the masses, who at present facing crisis in different sectors of life.

Haneef Siddiqui also hailed the economic policies announced by the government in the annual budget and said that incentives in industrial and agriculture sector as well as curtailment of taxes will help the government to boost the economy of the country.

Pakistan Muslim League Central Committee Member Jamal Arif Suharwardi has said that the PML-N government has presented the ever best budget in the prevailing situation of the country and hoped that the budget will provide relief to people belonging to all walks of life.

Jamal Arif Suharwardi said that the government had been successful to steer the country out of economic crisis being faced for the last many years and now it was stable and could meet any future challenge.

Terming Federal Budget 2018-19 as pro-people and progressive, he said that the budget would check inflation and ensure sustainable growth besides helping farmers, students, salaried class and poor segment of society, he added.

Prof Dr Mukhtiar Ahmed Mahar, Director, Centre for Coastal and Deltaic Studies, commented on the budget by decreased taxes ratio particularly on livestock dairy and fisheries sectors. Local consumers and fishing community will be benefited and promoting marketing of fisheries locally and international.

Minority leader and Chairman District Hindu Panchayat (DHP) Hyderabad Advocate M Parkash also praised the annual Budget 2018-2019 and said that the friendship with China has become corner-stone of Pakistan’s foreign policy and enjoys universal support in the country and this is great chance for Pakistan to address socio-economic development and to eliminate energy crisis.
