ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Monday adjourned the House after paying tributes to the departed soul of MNA Rajab Ali Khan Baloch.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and parliamentary secretary in National Assembly, Rajab Ali Khan Baloch passed away on Sunday last after a protracted illness. He was suffering from cancer and was under treatment at a private hospital of Lahore where he died.

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Baloch had been elected as member of the National Assembly in 2002, 2008 and 2013. He said, “Today, We would not take business and House would be adjourned due to his death.”

While paying tributes to Baloch, Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada said that he remained loyal to his party, adding he was a respectable member of the House.

Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, Shehryar Afridi, Abdul Mannan, Aftab Sherpao, Chaudhry Jafar Iqbal, Chaudhry Ashraf and others expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and paid tributes to political and social services of Baloch.

The members also expressed their grief over the loss of precious lives of the tourists due to a tragic incident in Neelum Valley.
