PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information, Shah Farman Tuesday submitted a resolution with provincial assembly for condemning the interview of the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The resolution submitted with the provincial assembly secretariat said that the interview of the former prime minister is tantamount to treason and an attempt to defame Pakistan across the world.

It further said that the provincial assembly recommends from the federal government to ban the publishing and broadcasting of the statements of the former prime minister by the print and electronic media.

The resolution said that the interview has proved that his statements are against the national interest and security and tantamount to damage the national reputation of the country.
