LAHORE: The Met Office said on Tuesday that a westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during next 3-4 day.

It said more rain-thundershower with gusty winds/dust-storm is expected today (Wednesday) at scattered places of Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Islamabad, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while at isolated places of Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Bannu, D.I. Khan, Quetta, Zhob divisions. Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.

It said rain-thundershower occurred at scattered places in KP, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Islamabad, FATA, while at isolated places in Quetta division, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and considerably dropped the maximum highest temperature turning the weather quite pleasant in these areas.
