ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday formed a three-member committee to carry out investigations into the Asghar Khan case.

According to an official, Ahsan Sadiq, a grade-21 officer of FIA, will head the committee. The other two members of the committee are Dr Usman Anwar who is a grade-20 officer and Dr Muhammad Rizwan, a grade-19 officer.

Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on May 9 gave the federal government a week’s time to summon a cabinet meeting to determine what action to be taken in light of the Asghar Khan case verdict.
