JI announces names of candidates for NA-I & PK-I

PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has announced the name of candidates for two constituencies of district Chitral, including one provincial and national assembly seat.

The announcement was made by JI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ameer, and MMA Provincial Senior Vice President, Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan while speaking at a news conference at Chitral. He said the former MNA Abdul Akbar Chitral will contest on NA-1 and PK-I Chitral as candidate of the JI, while the party youth district Chitral president, Wajeeuddin will be covering candidate on constituency PK-I Chitral.

He said that JI will contest on provincial assembly constituency PK-I under the platform of the MMA. However, he said the party will get any seat with consolation, so Abdul Akbar Chitrali will be candidate of the JI. Senator Mushtaq Ahmad said that MMA has given a revolutionary manifesto to the masses. He said there was no owner of offshore companies and corrupt people in the religious parties’ alliance.

He said MMA government will never compromise with the federal government on rights of KP. He said MMA has been facing numerous challenges at internal and external fronts for which he stressed the religious parties would need to show unity to tackle with all those challenges.

Senator Mushtaq Ahmad said the western powers were using every tactic to create rift among the Muslim Ummah and hatched conspiracies to confront with each others. He said that MMA has reactivated for enforcement of true Islamic system in the country and vowed that they will implement shahria system in letter and spirit, if elected to power.

He said the anti-states forces were freighting with the revival of MMA in the country. He said Pakistan didn’t disintegrate in 1970, if the MMA like religious parties force was existed in the country.

JI leader said the MMA will devise a foreign policy, which could resolve the issue of Muslim Ummah and develop positive image of Pakistan in rest of the world. He said the independence of Kashmir and Palestine would be core point of the MMA foreign policy.
