KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Preventive on Monday claimed to have recovered substantial quantity of foreign currency from a possession of a passenger, travelling to UAE.

According to details, the passenger namely Samiullah, who was travelling to UAE via flyDubai flight FZ-330, was intercepted by the preventive staff. After his refusal to have substantial quantity of foreign currency, he was gone through physical examination that led the recovery of 85,755 Dharams and US$650 from his possession. Consequent upon the recovery, the case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
