Safdar on the run?

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law is said to have gone into hiding, giving birth to a spate of wild speculations. It has also been reported that a team of NAB has left for Mansehra to arrest him and contacted the caretaker government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, seeking help in apprehension of Safdar. The name of Sharif’s son-in-law is said to have been placed on the black list, which means he would be barred from leaving the country.

There are reports that both Nawaz and his daughter are coming back by Friday or within next 10 days with a view to filing appeals against the accountability court’s verdict. This is a saner approach to the situation. In the meantime, Captain Safdar (r) is required to surrender before the law.

He must remember that hiding from law is now much pretty impossible.
