ISLAMABAD: In an attempt to bridge gap between voters and their leader, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has launched a mobile application that allows citizens to directly send message to Imran Khan regarding any issue they face in their respective constituency, reveals a PTI social media team official.

In an interview with a local media outlet, PTI Social Media Secretary Arslan Khalid said, “The ‘one click to Imran Khan’ app will allow voters to [directly] send a message to the leader about key issues in their area.”

“Every day, the best five to six questions will be short listed and Imran Khan will call the selected users to address their concerns,” Khalid says.

According to PTI social media team member, “Other parties are spending millions on sponsored posts and their digital campaign and Facebook has restricted organic reach recently which requires one to pay to reach a wider audience.”

He claims this had been a growing concern to the PTI as the party didn’t allocate funds for its social media. However, the claim couldn’t be independently verified.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has also at Bilawal house.
