RECORDER REPORT

HYDERABAD: The altruistic spirit of self-help and the projects initiated under this sentiment can lead to enviable success stories. University of Sindh is like our munificent mother and we its stakeholders are like extended family. Hence, we should contribute to the progress of our mother institution in all possible forms. I would specially stress maintenance of neat and clean profile of the varsity.

The above insights were offered by Sindh University VC Prof Fateh Muhammad Burfat during his visit to the Departments of International Relations, Environmental Sciences, Political Science and Anthropology and Archaeology.

The Vice Chancellor was particularly pleased to behold cleanliness and plantation campaign launched by the students of Department Environmental Sciences on self- help basis.

During the visit, Dr Burfat also made a point of checking teacher muster-rolls and also called out to students to stay in attendance to avoid adverse effects at the end of the semester. Dr Burfat also discussed matters of mutual academic interest with students, shared with them titles of the books he thought were standard references to specific student subject-related themes and urged upon them to maximize their reading.

Pro vice chancellors SU Noushero Feroz Campus Prof Muhammad Aslam Memon, Incharge Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences Prof Naghma Mangrio and Incharge Dean, Faculty of Arts Prof Rafique Ahmed Memon were with the Vice Chancellor during the visit.
