LAHORE: Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) kicked off its Green TEVTA campaign under which trees will be planted in 400 institutes of TEVTA across the Punjab.

In this regard a meeting was held here on Thursday which was presided over by General Manager TEVTA Amir Aziz. Committees have been constituted in supervision of all zonal managers and district managers.

These Committees will supervise the campaign in their respective districts. Officers will update head office about campaign through an online system. Afterward awards will be given to best performers.

While speaking on occasion Amir Aziz was of the view that this Independence Day will be a mega day where students and staff in all institutes of TEVTA will not only celebrate the Independence Day but they will also plant trees. He also advised students to take part in the campaign with full zeal which would continue till August 20. He also instructed to maintain the planted trees once they are planted.
