Anti-Khans criticizing dam fund

“The army chief gave the cheque for the dam fund to the Chief Justice and not to the Prime Minister.”

“Dam fund or the damn fund?”

“Ha ha, you are right the anti-Khans are criticizing the fund which defies logic to my mind.”

“Then why are you giggling?”

“Because in the Land of Controversies I was pretty sure someone would say what you just said and I reckon Imran Khan is mature enough to understand that the army chief’s decision was probably based on an age old principle….”

“The principle of respecting the elder?”

“I think the Chief Justice maybe younger than The Khan in years.”

“You are talking about their chronological age or the number of years they have been alive; I was talking about their biological age which includes physical, and social parameters, Werner Ries and Dahmar Pothig include psychical parameters as well.”

“And there you have The Khan leaving the Chief Justice way behind, the guy jogs every day and I have it on good authority that the slightly rotund Military Secretary whose official house The Khan appropriated is running with the Prime Minister and his biological age is on the decline....and…and…wait let me finish….the Prime Minister’s psychical parameters have improved tremendously since his third marriage so if his chronological age is over 65 then his biological age today is around 40?”

“Hmmm I guess you are arguing that the principle of respecting the elder did not arise in this case. What about the principle of respecting the office, I mean a Chief Justice can summon the Prime Minister to his court but the Prime Minister cannot summon the Chief Justice to parliament or to a cabinet meeting or to…”

“There is the judicial council. But perhaps the army chief gave the cheque to the Chief Justice because he wanted to forestall people comparing the amount donated for the dam fund because of the Chief Justice and the amount the Prime Minister attracted.”

“I don’t think so - I reckon he merely followed the principle of first come first served.”

“Ah yes there is that.”
