Pakistan posts robust growth: Oracle head

KARACHI: Pakistan has posted a robust growth in cloud transformation drive over the past few years with companies adopting emerging technologies to boost up their businesses, Country Head Applications at Oracle–Pakistan Syed Azam Abidi said on Tuesday.

Talking to newsmen at a hotel along with United Bank Limited Corporate Affairs and Marketing head Imran Ghani, Tri Angels Electronics CEO and Goto.com.pk president and CEO Asadullah Khan, he said the Oracle transforms businesses through its cloud services. The sectors, which use Oracle’s services including financial institutions, telecommunications, apparel manufacturers to blue chip companies, local businesses have come on board for faster innovation and business transformations, he said.
