ISLAMABAD: Member National Assembly belonging to Pakistan Peoples Party Qadir Patel, Agha Rafiullah and Shagufta Jummani in a joint statement have said that stopping the production order of former President Asif Ali Zardari amounts to denying the Parliament and its sovereignty.

They said that ‘selected’ Prime Minister Imran Khan is conspiring against democracy and Speaker National Assembly is a pawn in this conspiracy. They said that the conspiracy against 18th amendment has begun and asked all the pro-democratic members of Parliament to come out in the open to defend the Parliament. The Prime Minister is stripping the Parliament off of its powers, says a press release issued here on Wednesday.

Qadir Patel, Agha Rafiullah and Shagufta Jummani said that the PPP has defeated several dictators and all those dictators are lying in the dustbins of history. They warned the Prime Minister and asked him to stop meddling in the Constitution.—PR
