ISLAMABAD: A soldier of Pakistan Army was martyred and two civilians got injured as the Indian army resorted to ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.

According to a press release issued by the ISPR, Indian troops resorted to ceasefire violations in Baroh and Chirikot sector along the LoC. As a result Sepoy Naimat Wali was martyred while two women got injured in Serian village.

In response, Pakistan Army targeted Indian army posts which were “substantially damaged.” The ISPR said that there are reports of casualties of Indian troops.
