LAHORE: The newly-posted Chief Secretary Punjab Maj Azam Suleman (retd) called on Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, here on Friday and discussed matters pertaining to administrative issues, governance and steps aimed at promotion of transparency in the province.

Talking on the occasion, the chief minister said the government has adopted the policy of promoting a corruption-free culture and promotion of transparency in the society; timely completion of public welfare projects is a priority agenda of Punjab government. “Promotion of merit-based culture and public service are our agenda,” he said, adding: “I would wholly support the administration and it should impartially perform its duties.”

IG Police Shoaib Dastagir also called on CM Usman Buzdar and discussed matters pertaining to protection of life and property of the people and general law and order situation in the province.
