ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday visited Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters in Islamabad.

The prime minister, accompanied by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and federal ministers and advisers, was received at the ISI headquarters by ISI Director General Lt-Gen Faiz Hamid.

During the visit, he was given briefing on internal and external challenges faced by the country.

Prime Minister Imran Khan was briefed on situation pertaining to the coronavirus pandemic.

The prime minister said that no stone will be left unturned to safeguard national security and sovereignty.

Prime Minister appreciated the sacrifices and contributions of Inter Services Intelligency (ISI) being a superior state intelligence agency.

On April 15, the ISI DG had called on the prime minister where matters pertaining to national security were discussed.—NNI
