FAISALABAD: Chairman All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association (APTPMA), Muhammad Pervez Lala has said, “Within next one or two days we will start our factories soon after announcement by the Prime Minister and issuance of requisite notification in this regard.

The Chairman APTPMA said this after meeting with Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar and added that this is a good decision and resultantly all business and financial activities will restart which will reduce our financial problems and joblessness in the country.

Moreover, he appealed to the govt to make SOPs for opening of all wholesale and retail markets linked with the textile industry and to restore business and financial activities completely they should also be permitted to open the markets.

The chairman APTPMA said, “We are thankful to the Prime Minister Imran Khan, Governor Punjab, Ch Muhammad Sarwar, Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar, Minister of Industries & Production (Punjab), Mian Aslam Iqbal, that they have seriously noticed the fatal effects of closure of textile industry and keeping in view of seriousness of the matter and to resolve the issues of textile processing industry they have granted permission whole chain of textile industry to restart work.
