PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Advisor for Information and Public Relations Ajmal Wazir on Wednesday said that all retail shops across the province would remain open during Eid-ul-Fitr days.

The CM’s advisor, while addressing a news conference here, said that the provincial government has allowed opening of retail shops on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to facilitate people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

He said the decision was taken in the light of Supreme Court’s (SC) directives. The provincial retail shops will also remain open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, he said.

Ajmal Wazir stated that bakeries and home delivery services will be available even after 5:00pm across the province. Traders are required to ensure implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) during working hours, he added.
