PESHAWAR: The Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry has demanded of the government to make Angoor Adda, Kharlachi and Ghulam Khan trade routes “rebate able” and to improve the road network in the tribal districts, especially in South Waziristan, to facilitate trade activities.

The demand was made by SCCI president Maqsood Anwar Pervaiz during a meeting with a delegation of Wana Trade Union, South Waziristan, at the chamber here on Wednesday.

The delegation was led by Wana trade association president Mugarb Khan.

Murgarb Khan informed the chamber president about issues of traders and exporters.

The SCCI chief told the visiting delegation that the chamber would take up these issues with the government.

Mugarb Khan also told the SCCI chief about flour shortage in South Waziristan.
