ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said there was good news for the economy as despite the Covid-19, remittances have been showing encouraging growth for fourth consecutive months. In a tweet on Monday, the premier stated that despite Covid-19 more good news for our economy. Remittances from our hardworking overseas Pakistanis rose to $2.3 billion in September 2020, 31 percent higher over the same month a year before, and nine percent higher than Aug 2020. This marks the 4th consecutive month that remittances have remained above $2 billion.
