CHICAGO: ICE canola futures climbed on Tuesday for the fifth consecutive session as drought conditions continued to wear on crops across the Canadian Prairies, traders said.

Most-active November canola added $27.80, a 3.1% gain, to $916.80 per tonne, a new contract high.

November-January canola spread traded 2,845 times. Euronext November rapeseed futures and Malaysian September palm oil futures gained.—Reuters
