KARACHI: Feroze Alam Lari, Chairman, Towel Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (TMA) has appreciated the government bold and positive step for the development of exports sector and reduced the port charges by 50% which will also be helpful for the boom of economic activities in the country which will ultimately generate employment and reduce the poverty in the country.

He fully endorses the positive efforts of the government to trying continuously to remove impediments on the way of country export enhancement.

He congratulate to the government that they have taken lot of positive step timely to save the export industry.

He praises the government as well as Abdul Razak Dawood, Adviser for Commerce, Textile, Industry & Production and Investment who forwarded the same before the Federal Cabinet.

Dawood always provides their productive support to the export sector and due to this positive decision, Pakistani goods become more competent in the international Market as well as it will be a positive node to enhance the export of the country.

During the tumble of COVID-19, the Government is using all their organs timely and wisely for the growth of export. It is enjoyable moments for all of us that Pakistan’s total exports stood at $27.209 billion in 2020-21 compared to $21.476 billion in 2019-20, according to the data compiled by the Federal Board of Revenue.

It means export increased by 26.69% as compared to 2019-20. We hear continuously that export of our country is going up day by day. This is a very good sign for all of us and we should put all efforts to achieve the export target with the support of government institutions.
