ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet, which is scheduled to meet on Wednesday (today), will approve Minimum Indicative Prices (MIPs) of tobacco crop 2022. To be presided over by Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin, the committee would approve a summary of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for technical supplementary grant of Rs4 billion under the Pakistan Raises Revenue Program (PRRP) for the financial year 2021-22.

The ECC will also consider a summary of the Ministry of Interior for a technical supplementary grant amounting to Rs78.5 million for projects of the ICAT administration, Islamabad. Approval of technical supplementary amounting to Rs60 million within sanctioned budget for the purchase of spare parts for helicopter maintenance by HQs Frontier Corps Balochistan (North), Quetta during FY 2021-22 is also on the agenda. The ECC would also approve technical supplementary grant to the tune of Rs3 million, equivalent to $17,133.06 with sanctioned budget for purchase of spare parts for helicopter maintenance by HQs Frontier Corps KP (North), Peshawar during CFY 2021-22.—MUSHTAQ GHUMMAN
