‘Ethnic unity and progress in the new era’

This is apropos a Business Recorder op-ed “Ethnic unity and progress in the new era” carried by the newspaper yesterday. Li, the China’s consul general, has been playing a highly meaningful role in introducing the modern and fully developed China to this newspaper’s readers in particular in a fascinating manner. He has argued, among other things, that “The whole nation, ethnic minority areas included, has achieved a victory in the poverty alleviation fight, and built a moderately prosperous society in all respects. The ethnic minority groups, the places where they live, and ethnic relations have all taken on a new look”.

The Chinese leadership has taken a firm step against countering negative propaganda against their country. It is increasingly clear that the West, in its campaign against China, has been trying to undermine China. But China is fully prepared to defeat West’s all sinister designs against it and its people.
