Facts to be presented before international community: Sana

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday said that the involvement of India in all the terrorist activities carried out in the country is quite evident and Pakistan has clear evidence of it, therefore, the government has decided to present the facts before the international community.

Addressing a press conference flanked by Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Additional Inspector General (AIG) Imran Mehmood, he said that India has gone beyond that of an enemy state just to hide its barbarities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

“India has continued atrocities in Kashmir and to justify it through some way or the other woos the international community, and is also carrying out terrorist activities in Pakistan and we have clear evidence of it,” he said.

He said that now the government has decided to present the facts and truth before the international community and to put the obnoxious face of India before the world. For decades, Pakistan has been the victim of terrorism. Our mosques, Imambargahs, important buildings, and gatherings have been targeted, he said.

The minister said that today, the AIG CTD will brief about the terror incident that took place in Johar Town, Lahore on June 23, 2021, and there is clear evidence of India’s involvement in it. The government has decided to present the fact about this incident before the international community and expose India before the world, he said.

He said that the culprits involved in Johar Town have been arrested and India has accepted responsibility for the incident in its own way.

AIG CTD Mehmood briefed the media about the incident that took place in Lahore’s Johar Town on June 23, 2021, in which three people were killed and 22 others were injured, including a police constable.
