KARACHI: The country’s total liquid foreign reserves declined by $18.5 million to stand at $13.02 billion end of last week, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Thursday.

During the week ended on Mar 1, 2024, SBP’s reserves decreased by $54 million to $7.896 billion due to debt repayments. However, net foreign exchange reserves held by commercial banks increased by $35.4 million to $5.124 billion as on March 1, 2024 up from $5.089 billion as of Feb 23, 2024.
