KARACHI: Gold prices saw a noticeable recovery on Saturday, as international market edged higher, traders said.

The yellow metal gained Rs1,000 to Rs308,000 per tola and and Rs857 to Rs264,060 per 10 grams, according to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

International market inched up by $6, pushing gold bullion prices to $2,936 per ounce with silver trading at over $32 per ounce.Domestic silver prices dropped by Rs50 and Rs43, going down to Rs3,380 per tola and Rs2,897 per 10 grams, respectively, the association added.

Open market may trade gold and silver at different prices as compared to those fixed by the association.
