KARACHI: The country’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves saw a slight increase of $ 277 million during the last week.
According to a weekly report issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday, Pakistan’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves surged to $ 16.875 billion as of June 6, 2025, compared to $ 16.598 billion recorded a week earlier on May 30, 2025.
During the week under review, the SBP’s reserves rose by $ 167 million to reach $ 11.676 billion, up from $ 11.509 billion. Commercial banks also posted a marginal increase of $ 110 million in net foreign reserves, which climbed to $ 5.199 billion at the end of the last week compared to $ 5.089 billion a week earlier.
