RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 278,057 tonnes of cargo comprising 179,652 tonnes of import cargo and 98,405 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.

The total import cargo of 179,652 comprised of 69,890 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 2, 812 tonnes of Bulk Cargo, 17, 461 tonnes of Dap & 89,489 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.

The total export cargo of 98,405 comprised of 41,245 Containerized Cargo & 57,160 Clinkers,

Approximately, 04 ships namely Eleni T., Nave Cielo, Sirius Highway, & Da Cui Yun, berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.

Around, 03 ships namely, Torm Elizabeth, X-Press Kohima, & Eleni T sailed form the Karachi Port Trust.

PORT QASIM

A total of seven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Al-Thakhira and Seaways Kolberg are left the port on Monday morning, while two more ships, Sea Hunter and Horizon-1 are expected to sail on Monday afternoon.

Cargo volume of 64,960 tonnes, comprising 61,777 tonnes imports cargo and 3,183 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are six ships at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them a edible oil carrier Hafnia Tanzanite & another container carrier ‘Eleni-T’ expected to take berths at LCT and QICT respectively on today16th June, while two more container ships, MSC Roberta-V and GFS Prime are due to arrive at outer anchorage on Tuesday 17th June, 2025.
