RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 141,766 tonnes of cargo comprising 121,295 tonnes of import cargo and 20,471 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.

The total import cargo of 121,295 tonnes comprised of 49,750 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 12,164 tonnes of Bulk Cargo & 59,381 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.

The total export cargo of 20,471 tonnes comprised of 17,653 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, tonnes of Bulk Cargo & 2,818 tonnes of Clinkers.

Around, 04 ships namely, Konrad, Mistral Explorre, Ssi Adventure, & Jin Shun He berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.

PORT QASIM

A total of twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, MSC Glory and Nord Agano left the port on Wednesday morning, while four more ships, Epic Susak, GFS Juno, MSC Tia-V and Salsa are expected to sail on today (.)

Cargo volume of 193,166 tonnes, comprising 119,629 tonnes imports cargo and 73,537 export cargo carried in 5,881 Containers (1,920 TEUs Imports & 3,961 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 09 ships at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Nepta, Navigator Aries and Hansa Africa & another ship, Jin Shun Hi carrying LPG and Container are expected to take berths at SSGC, EVTL and QICT on Wednesday October 1st, 2025.
