We hate paying taxes for whatever reason

“Bulls hold sway or so I heard.”

“Bulls are territorial in nature and….ooops were you referring to our federal cabinet cause if you were let me remind you that none of the members, and I must emphasize this, not a single one is territorial about their portfolios.”

“I heard you say many Cabinet members love multiple portfolios and get them as and when they….”

“But all bulls charge when they see the colour red.”

“And you blame them! We have red zones where entry is banned for most of us, but for your information none of the cabinet members easily enter and exit the red zone so….”

“Stop right there. Are we are talking of different things? Are you referring to bulls as in the animal, that many of us sacrifice on Eid-ul-Azha….”

“Phew.”

“Excuse me?”

“I am so glad for that clarification because otherwise there may have been some of us who deliberately or inadvertently thought that you were referring to a member of the cabinet and then proceeded….”

“Enough said. Anyway my healthy respect for market behaviour has been transformed into an…an….an”!

“An unhealthy disrespect for the markets?”

“Right the oil market in particular. One statement and there you go, the price was going up and down like a yo-yo…..”

“But you must acknowledge that it depends on The Man, some can move mountains others can’t.”

“You mean President Trump can and….and….a double-portfolio member of our cabinet cannot.”

“The principle is the same I reckon. We hate paying taxes for whatever reason and the easiest way to manipulate our market is to threaten them with higher taxes…..”

“Right so some of our market players are sensible enough to heed those with the relevant authority to.…”

“That makes sense. And the stock market upward swing, bulls say, is then cited as an indicator of a buoyant economy…”

“Even though more than 90 percent of the people of this country do not even know what the market is all about.”

“I disagree.”

“Hey the poor and the lower to even middle income earners have no clue about the market and…”

“No I disagree about the 90 percent claim. I reckon it’s a lot higher.”
